I relocated to Middlesex Township (where I grew up) and reopened my salon in 2018. t I'd do growing up, but as soon as I started cutting, coloring, and styling hair I was hooked.
In 1994 I began my hair designing career in Pittsburgh. I worked for others and quickly realized I wanted to venture out on my own.
In 2007 I opened Jen Ruiz Hair Designs in the SouthSide flats of Pittsburgh.
I love working in a smaller salon environment, and getting to know people. I learn so much and am inspired by my clients. Creating custom haircuts, haircolor, and styles that work best for them and their lifestyle gives me the most satisfaction.
